I believe we can all agree that the equipment we use has a significant impact on our cooking experience. It’s simple: nice pans make our time in the kitchen more fun, not to mention that they improve the taste of our food.
With this in mind, Copper Chef collaborated with chef Jet Tila to create the perfect pan: the Copper Chef Titan Pan.
In a nutshell, this plan is designed to be everything you need. It blends ceramic pans’ nonstick characteristics with stainless steel’s searing abilities.
Non-stick, versatile, resilient, and easy to handle. So far, the Copper Chef Titan Pan appears to be fantastic.
But, before we get into the details of this fascinating device, let’s have a look at the brand.

All of their goods, according to their official website, are loaded with clever features that give excellent performance, allowing you to cook like an expert at home.
Their non-stick pans are well-known for their versatility, as they may be used with any heat source.
Copper Chef Titan Pan review
The Copper Chef Titan Pan, as I previously stated, is a versatile pan that combines the benefits of non-stick and stainless-steel cookware.
This is the brand’s most recent product.
It was created in collaboration with celebrity chef Jet Tila, who has appeared on numerous television shows including No Reservations, Chopped, Cutthroat Kitchen, and others.
The Copper Chef Titan Pan may be used to replace 11 various tools, including a frying pan, a wok, a 4-quart stockpot, a shallow fryer, a roasting pan, a steamer, a Dutch oven, a casserole dish, a pizza pan, a baking dish, and a crisper. If you have a restricted budget and wish to invest in a versatile tool, that sounds ideal.
It comes in two sizes (9.5″ and 11″) and is 3 inches deep, allowing you to make a wide range of foods with it.
Let’s take a deeper look at some of its features:
Diamond-infused non-stick coating and a three-ply design
One layer of aluminum is sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel in the Copper Chef Titan Pan. Fast heat conduction is enabled by the aluminum, while heat retention and consistent cooking are enhanced by the stainless steel.
Furthermore, the cooking surface features an engraved steel pattern that aids in the browning of food— ideal for a great seared steak!
It also has a diamond-infused covering that is non-stick and scratch-resistant, even when metal utensils are used.
This pan’s construction makes it a long-lasting, multi-purpose tool for professional cooking.
The professional look and ergonomic design
Aside from the clever tri-ply design, the Copper Chef Titan Pan has a very polished appearance. It’s basic but attractive, and it’s designed to work in any kitchen.
The handles are sturdy, securely fastened, and ergonomically designed for ease of use. However, despite the fact that the brand claims they stay cool during cooking, several consumer reviews contradict this claim. It’s safer to grab the pan with oven mitts or potholders for safety reasons.
Free of PFOA
Many individuals are concerned about harmful chemicals used in non-stick cookware. However, the Titan Pan, like all Copper Chef products, is PFOA-free, making it safe to use.
The non-stick coating is comprised of diamond particles and heats up 15 percent faster than standard non-stick cookware.
It’s safe to use with any type of heat source.
The Copper Chef Titan Pan is a versatile pan that works with any burner, even induction, and is made to fit every culinary enthusiast. It’s also oven-safe, with a temperature range of 450° F (about 232° C).
The glass cover can withstand temperatures of up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (177 degrees Celsius).
Dishwasher safe and easy to clean
The Copper Chef Titan Pan is exceptionally easy to clean because of its nonstick characteristics. You may either do it by hand or put it in the dishwasher.
They recommend washing hands with a soft, non-metallic sponge and mild soap and water. Remember that the non-stick coating will wear off with time, even if the surface is scratch-resistant, so treat it with caution.
What’s included with the Copper Chef Titan Pan?
A tempered glass lid, a steam / crisper tray, and a Jet Tila recipe book are included with each Copper Chef Titan Pan.
However, alternative packages that include the pan, as well as other culinary basics, are available.
The following items are included in the greatest Amazon deal:
- 11-inch pan
- 8-inch pan
- Tempered glass lid
- Crisper tray / steam
- Jet Tila’s recipe book
A few more pieces are included in other sets. For an extra $35, you get:
- 11-inch pan with a matching lid
- 9.5-inch fry pan with a matching lid
- 8-inch fry pan with a matching lid
- A slotted spoon and a stainless steel spatula
- Santoku knife, 5.5″
- Jet Tila’s recipe book
To be honest, it’s far preferable to buy the pan as a set because you’ll get more bang for your buck. The costs are put up to encourage customers to buy a kit rather than a single pan.
However, if you still want to purchase it separately, you can do so.
Recommendations for using the Copper Chef Titan Pan
They provide some important facts on the Titan Pan FAQs page that you should know before buying:
- They advocate seasoning the pan with natural oils like olive, canola, or peanut oil before first use to improve its non-stick properties and add flavor.
- Despite the diamond-infused coating, a small amount of oil or butter is required to prevent food from adhering. For those who prefer to cook in a dry pan, this is a bummer.
- It is advisable to heat the pan on medium heat before adding any food. Nothing will stick to the surface if you do it this way.
- For searing beef, use medium heat and a little oil.
Aside from these suggestions, keep in mind that there is no such thing as a magical pan that will last forever. As a result, you must take special care of your cookware, owing to the non-stick coating.
It’s no secret that this style of kitchenware wears out faster than cast iron. Even so, if you keep it clean and avoid using metal utensils on it, it will last a few years.
- Versatile and useful
- Non-stick coating without PFOA
- The tri-ply design is fantastic.
- Have a professional look
- It’s oven-safe and works on any stovetop.
- Recipe book is included.
- According to several evaluations, the handles can become overly hot.
- You’ll still need a little oil to keep the food from sticking.
- Some reviews claim that the advertisements overestimate the pan’s capabilities.
- When compared to the package pricing, the pan alone is overly pricey.
The Copper Chef Titan Pan appears to be an excellent addition to any kitchen. It’s adaptable, simple to clean, and nonstick.
If you’re searching for a high-quality pan that can be used for a variety of things, this could be a nice option. The two sizes provided are quite practical, and the tri-ply structure ensures uniform cooking and heat retention for any food you create.
As I previously stated, it is preferable to get the Copper Chef Titan Pan in a set. Fortunately, all of the available seats are really comprehensive and include valuable goods, so you won’t be wasting your money.
Is the Copper Chef Titan Pan a safe pan to use?
The Copper Chef Titan Pan is devoid of PFOA, a chemical that has been at the center of health and environmental concerns over typical nonstick cookware.
In answer to our questions about PTFE, the pan’s manufacturer (Tristar Products) refused to say whether the material is utilized in the nonstick coating.
Tristar told us at first that “the product might contain some traces” of PTFE. When we asked for more information, they merely supplied the owner’s handbook, which contains no information on the matter.
We were able to determine that the pan used PTFE based on the temperature rating and other product data.
According to experts, PTFE is safe to use at low-to-medium cooking temperatures, but it should be avoided at high temperatures. The way PTFE is created has several unfavorable environmental consequences, which we recently discussed in detail.
Is The Copper Chef Titan Pan Safe For My Bird?
No. Even tiny quantities of inhaled chemicals, such as those generated from PTFE cookware, may be harmful to pet birds. Even if your pet bird is far away from the kitchen, long-term exposure to fumes can be fatal. If you have a bird or want to avoid PTFE in general, we’ve put together a handy library that lists popular cookware lines that are PTFE-free.
Why Is Nonstick Pan Durability An Issue?
The creation of a cooking surface that is both abrasion resistant and good at releasing food is a basic difficulty for non-stick pan manufacturers.
A fluoropolymer resin is customarily put over a pan’s metal base to create a non-stick coating in pans like the Titan. At typical cooking temperatures, these resins can withstand a lot of heat and chemicals, but they’re renowned for not being glued to the pan’s underlying metal base.
Many manufacturers began using a priming material between the metal construction and the nonstick coating to keep the nonstick layer attached to the metal foundation. A priming coat, such as the Copper Chef Titan’s “diamond-infused” one, improves adhesion between the non-stick surface and the metal base. The “diamonds” or minerals ground into the primer help transfer heat and provide a rough surface that helps deflect forces from a pan’s surface, such as the impact of a spatula.
Even with the advancements in primer substrates over the last decade, there aren’t many viable choices. Non-stick surfaces are notoriously easy to scratch or chip. And once damage occurs, the rest of the surface is likely to deteriorate swiftly.
Are There Real Diamonds In The Titan Pan?
Yes, but it isn’t as glamorous as you may think.
Most firms do not specify what material they label “diamond” in their advertisements, but rest certain that it is not gem grade. The majority of patent filings for diamond-infused cookware coatings describe a production process that uses industrial-grade, lab-grown diamond dust or a diamond-like substance like quartz.
What sets one diamond coating apart from another is often the material used, the size of the dust particles, and where they are positioned in the priming layer.
What Sizes Are Available?
The Copper Chef Titan comes in a 5-piece set that includes a saute pan with tempered glass cover, a frying pan, a steamer tray, and a Jet Tila recipe book. You can choose from a 9.5″ or 11″ Saute Pan in one of two bundle options.
If you have a large group to feed, the 11″ Saute Pan with a wide burner is ideal. The diameter of many American burners is 6″, which may be too small for this pan. Cooking on a tiny burner with a large pan might result in uneven heating, especially when cooking dry foods.
